I was not sure I could go, but it turns out my life is a lot less exciting than I anticipated...so Prezcon here I come! Jason is going as well, so we should get a podcast off while we are there and maybe an interview or two.
So here is a list of the games I am interested in playing at Prezcon:
Hammer of the Scots
Crusader Rex
Napoleonic Wars
Monty's Gamble
Britannia
Paths of Glory
War of the Ring
There is no way that I can really play them all competitively and I am not sure I could actually play a single sitting of each game. As a result, I need to focus on a couple and see what develops. Right now I am thinking Hammer will be my first priority. After that I have some difficulties because POG overlaps a lot and Crusader Rex starts a too early on Thursday for me to be sure I can make it. Basically, my schedule has overlaps all over the place. Most likely I will have to drop either Britannia and either POG or Crusader Rex. Difficult choice, because I really want to play some Crusader Rex, but getting face to face POG games is tough outside of a tournament.

 What'S up? Is Scott (Jason, I meant Jason D'oh) better then you thought?  Head's up - you have a really heavy schedule when I look at the games your interested in. And there might always be a "next year". Think positive - the games you don't play are those that you haven't lost... Ok, it doesn't work the other way around with winning  But that's live. Right now I have so many games on my play-list that I need a second live beside my job and family to keep up with it. And then there are some guys doing a podcast about wargames that are not good for my playlist - believe me. Thanks for your effort guys, enjoy the time at PrezCon - damn that I live on the other side of the pond... |

Please get in a game of Crusader Rex. I would like to get your impressions. I own it, but lately have been hardpressed to get the time to play it. My daughter and I have played alot of HOTS and we love it. I am hoping that Rex plays similarly...Have fun at the Con. Mike |
